Our Story
Sukhh was born from love.
From two names that shaped me —
my grandparents, Sunaina and Akhan.
From their names came a word.
From that word came everything.
Sukhh. In Hindi, it means joy.
It means the quiet fullness
of a life well lived.
This label carries that feeling
in every thread.
Almost everything here is done by hand. The beadwork is laid one motif at a time. The drapes are pinned on the body, unpinned, and pinned again until the fall is right. It is slower than it needs to be. It is the only way I know to make something that lasts.
If you would like a piece in another fabric, another length, another colour entirely — that is not an exception here. That is simply how we work.
